Construct a rich, vibrant, sophisticated world using only your imagination and watch it come to life! We will work together as teams of world builders, a brand new field of creative arts that teaches the creation of rules and behaviors for fictional worlds, blending science, technology, social structure, geography, economics, and politics. World building explores the idea that storytelling is inherent in everything we do in life, crossing such diverse disciplines as ecology, sociology, politics, architecture, education, game design, cinema, theatre, and more. We will develop fully formed, complex and plausible worlds that can support multiple narratives and interactive experiences that will be crafted by you. In doing so, you will engage in exciting and creatively fulfilling research, design, prototyping, and development. We will extend those skills beyond storytelling into real-world problem solving, encouraging collaboration and non-linear thinking. Students will have a variety of media to assist them in envisioning, conceptualizing, and building their new world.
Camp Walnut is back with a new and exciting program! Campers will get the Camp Walnut Experience in a shortened day. Campers will come away more confident in their theatre performance abilities.

When girls participate in sports-based development programs, they build skills that can be applied both on and off the field. Young leaders will be guided to take those skills and utilize them in a whole new way. While sampling a variety of sports, they will learn and develop leadership traits such as communication, team building, and confidence. Take the Lead will foster a healthy sense of competition and teamwork. This AIS Signature Program has been updated to develop our youngest leaders and athletes, encourage their growth and selfconfidence, and invite them to five fun-filled afternoons!
